Ultrasound diagnostics of 3D and 4D state-of-the-art ultrasound technologies

Ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that allows the gynecologist to observe the fetus in the uterus. The benefits of this type of examination are immeasurable - reliable pregnancy identification, material analysis and detection of possible fetal abnormalities, etc.

The 3D / 4D ultrasound machine is a state-of-the-art device in the field of ultrasound diagnostics. Its technological solutions allow for the best quality of a "plain" two-dimensional (2D) fruit display. There is also the possibility of three-dimensional image (3D) and three-dimensional representation of baby's movement - three-dimensional film (4D). Unlike standard silhouette (outline, shadow) 2D ultrasound imaging, 3D / 4D ultrasound gives this display a sense of depth and the possibility of spatial orientation.

The screen shows the figure of the fruit or part of its body (eg leg, arm, face), which can be viewed from any angle. 3D cross-sectional analysis of organs and tissues (eg fetal brain) makes it possible to see details from angles that are difficult or impossible to portray with a standard 2D scan. An additional advantage is the ability to capture certain 3D / 4D details (the so-called 3D / 4D pattern), which can later be analyzed in three dimensions and without patient presence.

4D ultrasound enables observation of the whole spectrum of motor activity and fetal behavior - body and extremity activities (sucking finger, touching parts of the body with hands, etc.) and facial expressions (yawning, smile, frown, crying, eyelid opening, etc.). The possibilities of estimation of the fetal status on the basis of his facial expression and overall behavior, both spontaneous and certain external stimuli, are also explored.
