Determining the degree of cleanliness of the vagina

I group of vaginal secretions contains vaginal epithelium, a few leukocytes, some bacteria and a lot of Doederlein's bacilli (physiological bacteria).

II group; fewer vaginal cells, a higher number of leukocytes, more bacteria and fewer Doederlein bacilli (physiological).

III group; a large number of leukocytes, numerous gram-positive cocci bacteria and a lack of gram-positive rods, Doederlein's bacilli.

IV group; Gonococci predominate.

V group; trichomonas vaginalis

VI group; fungal infection.

Group I and II is a physiological or normal group of vaginal secretions.
